I don\u2019t even know where to begin. I found out that my wife was sleeping with a 19-year-old boy. Yes, you read that right\u2014a boy who has been living with us under my roof. The discovery hit me like a ton of bricks. I threatened to invite thugs to manhandle him, and in fear, the boy confessed everything. He told me that their affair had been going on since April of last year, just about a month after he came to live with us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This boy had come to us after finishing his senior high school. I took him in, thinking I was helping him get a better future. He was supposed to help at our shop while re-writing some papers, all under my sponsorship, with plans to eventually go to the university. I never expected that my kindness would be repaid in such a horrific way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As I sit here typing this, I\u2019m boiling with anger and hurt. This is the last thing I ever expected from my wife. The idea that she could sleep with someone I\u2019m taking care of, under our own roof, and right under my nose, is something I simply can\u2019t tolerate. I don\u2019t care what she\u2019s missing or lacking\u2014she never once communicated her needs to me. She never told me I wasn\u2019t good enough, or that she needed something I wasn\u2019t providing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Her actions were purely selfish, and I can\u2019t get over how ungrateful she has been.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When I caught them, do you know what her excuse was? She said she felt lonely. Can you believe that? I was working myself to the bone trying to take care of our family, including this boy, and the thanks I get is this? My wife, a 37-year-old mother of four, who has been married to me for eleven years, claimed she was so lonely that she had to sleep with a kid. Eleven years of marriage, and she never once mentioned feeling lonely until this boy arrived. Is that not enough reason to send her packing?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I didn\u2019t waste any time. I sent her packing the same day I caught them. I couldn\u2019t look at her anymore. As for the boy, I\u2019m done helping him too. I know he claimed that my wife lured him into it, that she forced him, and I get that he\u2019s young and impressionable. But I just can\u2019t continue to support him. This morning, she showed up at the house with a few family members, probably hoping to talk me into forgiving her. I was so angry that I drove through them like they weren\u2019t even there. Many men are deeply hurting but don\u2019t open up because of pride or ego. But I don\u2019t care\u2014I need people to know that betrayal isn\u2019t limited to one side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I never thought I\u2019d be in this position, sharing my story of betrayal and heartbreak. But I can\u2019t keep it bottled up. My marriage is over, my trust has been destroyed, and I\u2019m left picking up the pieces of a life I thought I knew.
