She found his WhatsApp number buried in one of the posts he’d made the previous day. Without a second thought, she copied it and went straight to message him. She didn’t know what would come of it, but one thing was clear—she was determined to have an affair with him, no matter the cost.
“This will teach his wife a lesson. That woman thinks she’s got the most faithful husband on earth. When I’m done, she’ll realize there are levels to this game,” she muttered to herself, confident in her plan.
“Hello, sir, good evening. This is Tricia, one of your die-hard followers on Facebook. I know this might sound strange, but I’m speaking from the heart. I love you, sir, and I really want us to get to know each other on an intimate level. No, I don’t mean…you know—I just want us to be close,” she typed and hit send.
When he saw her message, he smiled before quickly replying,
“Good evening, young lady. Are you aware that I’m a married man?”
“Of course, I know, sir. That’s why I told you there’s nothing intimate involved. I just want us to be close, where I can confide in you,” she responded.
The conversation went on for about 30 minutes. He tried to reason with her, but she was insistent—it was just a close relationship, nothing more, she assured him. Eventually, she asked him out. Though it felt awkward, he agreed, and she was thrilled to see her plan slowly coming to life.
“I’ll drug him, just this once, get him to sleep with me under duress. Then, his wife will have nothing to boast about anymore,” she schemed with a smile.
On the appointed day, she arrived at the eatery 30 minutes before the agreed time, dressed in a seductive outfit that clearly revealed her intentions. This wasn’t her first time—she had already caused the downfall of several well-meaning men, and she was certain this would be no different.
Just as the man called to let her know he had arrived, she looked up and saw him walking in, arm-in-arm with his wife. His wife was elegantly dressed, looking every bit the queen she was. They both approached her table, greeted her warmly, and sat down.
Tricia was stunned, unable to speak. All she could think was, “Why did you bring your wife? Did you have to tell her everything?”
As if reading her thoughts, his wife turned to her and said,
“Hello, dear. My husband told me everything that’s been going on between you two. How you’ve been pressuring him for an intimate relationship, even after he told you he’s married. He shared how you insisted on this meeting, almost wearing him down with your persistence. Well, here we are. Feel free to talk to him and do whatever you want.”
Tricia wished the ground would swallow her whole. The shame was overwhelming. Without saying another word, she got up and left the eatery. On her way out, she pulled out her phone, found the man’s number, and immediately hit the block button. That was the end of her pestering.
She had already ordered a variety of dishes before everything went south. As the waitress began serving the food, the couple settled in, enjoying the meal and laughing about the situation before heading home, gisting and making light of the whole ordeal.
Faithfulness may seem easy to dismiss, but it’s a big deal. The rewards are beyond measure. Never hide things from your partner—sin thrives in secrecy. True intimacy can only be built with your spouse. Any other source demanding it is a trap.
